Thanks to the State School Teachers Union of WA for sponsoring two students to attend an International Women’s Day breakfast. The breakfast is organised by the Zonta Club of Perth Northern Suburbs Inc. The lucky students will accompany a CJ teacher for a delicious breakfast and to hear special guest speaker Amy Carter-James, founder and trustee of the NEMA Foundation (http://www.nemafoundation.org/).
‘In her mid 20s Amy established an eco-lodge in Mozambique and before she turned 30 she had won just about every major tourism and hospitality award in the world.’ She is also recognised as ‘finding innovative, grass-root solutions to lift vulnerable children and their families out of poverty.’
To be considered for a ticket, students must complete an application form from Student Reception and also check the details below to make sure they’re available.
