Celebrating a Successful Welcome Event: A Heartfelt Thank You to All Who Made It Possible

Week three played host to our welcome event, and it was an overwhelming success, thanks to the collective effort of staff, volunteers, and students. The event was filled with energy, excitement, and a sense of community as students enjoyed various activities and interactions. The day proved to be a highlight for students, and a significant part of that success was due to the tremendous support and dedication of everyone involved.

One of the standout features of the event was the Get to Know You boards, which encouraged both staff and students to connect in a creative and personal way. It was heartwarming to see so many participants engaging with these boards, sparking conversations and building connections that will last throughout the year. Special thanks go to those who embraced the initiative, helping to make it such a success.

Organizing and running an event of this scale requires the commitment and effort of many individuals, and this event was no different. The hospitality team, led by Cath, provided essential support in the form of storage solutions and BBQ supplies. Their attention to detail even included a delightful surprise for staff—cupcakes that brought a little extra joy to the day.
