Simone is an English Teacher who has worked at Cyril Jackson since its transition to a senior campus in the mid-nineties. While predominantly in the classroom, at times she has acted in leadership roles within the faculties of Humanities and Student Services. Simone is also the Pre-Service Teacher coordinator at the campus.
Simone has a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Film and Creative Writing, from Curtin University. After Curtin, she completed a Graduate Diploma in Education at WACAE (now Edith Cowan University) before commencing a teaching career at Mirrabooka SHS (now Dianella College) as an English, Media Studies, and Drama teacher.
Simone is a passionate advocate for Cyril Jackson Senior Campus, and the alternative it provides; especially for disengaged and/or disadvantaged youth. She has even been successful in persuading her own family members to attend the campus!
