Milton holds an Arts degree (History and Economics) and further academic qualifications in Education and Computer Science. He commenced his career with the Department of Education as a Social Studies teacher, initially working in Aboriginal Education. He has worked for 30 years in educational administration, including 20 years’ service as a principal in both rural and metropolitan schools. He has also served the Department of Education as a Regional Executive Director in several regional and remote areas.
Milton has a strong belief in education as a transformative opportunity for all and has a commitment to public education as a provider of opportunity.
He commenced as Principal of Cyril Jackson Senior Campus in January 2021 and appreciates the theme of the Business Plan of “Find Your Course, Find Your Place” as a statement of the rationale of the school as a provider of opportunity for both compulsory aged students looking for a different schooling approach and adult students seeking further study options.
