Facilities for Hire

Cyril Jackson is well positioned for public transport being very close to the Ashfield train platform. We have a number of facilities for hire including: 

Recreation Centre – Gymnasium  Maximum Capacity: 500pax

One full size undercover basketball court with wooden flooring housed within the gymnasium, the court can be separated into three separate zones with netting panels.

Recreation Centre – Dance Room Maximum Capacity: 166pax

One large dance room with parquetry flooring, floor to ceiling dance mirrors, ballet barre and block out curtains.

Both spaces in the Recreation Centre also have access to:

  • male/female and disabled toilets
  • large kitchen and serving space-commercial fridge (to be turned on only if in use)
  • freezer
  • baine maire and warming oven
  • wall mounted urn
  • trestle tables and chairs (please ask if required)
  • air conditioning (please ask if required)
  • dedicated car park off Reid Street

ArtsHouse Maximum Capacity: 50pax

Detached arts room/dwelling within the school grounds. Two main rooms within the space both with large windows and excellent lighting. Group tables and stools, bench spaces and sink areas within the largest room. The space includes a toilet and bathroom. A kiln is located next door and can be made available upon request and a cost of $50 per firing.
